TBA Student Chapter
The Student Chapter of the Tennessee Biotechnology Association (TBA) is a statewide organization of undergraduate through post-doctoral level students with a strong interest in biotechnology. The goal of the multi-disciplinary student chapter is to provide a springboard for members pursuing professional pathways within biotechnology through a variety of activities including seminars and networking opportunities. As the chapter grows, increased collaboration among Universities across the state is anticipated, leading to further expansion of opportunities considered crucial to the successful growth of biotechnology in the State of Tennessee.
 
Tennessee Technology Development Corporation
The Tennessee Technology Development Corporation (TTDC) is Tennessee’s lead organization for technology-based economic development. TTDC is a private, nonprofit corporation that operates as a public/private partnership to create wealth, opportunity and prosperity in Tennessee. The organization was created by the state legislature in 1998 to serve as a market-driven mechanism to optimize the use of public and private resources to foster innovation.
